Why Byterider?
One dashboard instead of a collection of separate bots
A shared interface reduces context switching, repeated configuration and scattered records.
Use cases
Built for different servers, not one fixed setup
Combine modules according to your community, team structure and technical requirements.
Community servers
Connect onboarding, participation and member-managed voice rooms.
Minecraft and SMP servers
Organize game operations, applications and Discord moderation together.
Support servers
Track requests from first contact through to the final transcript.
Creators and projects
Schedule releases and keep community activity understandable.
Security and privacy
Control starts with clear permissions
Byterider never requests Administrator. Modules verify access server-side and use only the permissions required for their job.
- OAuth tokens are stored encrypted
- Sensitive owner actions are audited
- Retention windows are applied deliberately
- No data sharing with advertising networks
- Public status data contains no internal addresses
- Support access is limited and traceable
- Permissions are checked server-side for every sensitive action.
Public beta
Test openly, improve transparently
Byterider is being tested with real communities and updated regularly. Important systems are monitored, failures are recorded and changes are published as versioned releases.
- Free, with no paid version planned
- No payment details required
- Known limitations in the changelog
- Public system status and feedback channel
Current beta version1.5.0-beta.1
Frequently asked questions
What to know before inviting the bot
Does Byterider require Administrator?
No. The invite requests specific Discord permissions. For role modules, the bot role must still sit above any roles it should manage.
Learn moreIs Byterider free?
Yes. Every released feature is free, there is no premium plan and no payment information is collected. Public beta describes product maturity, not a future paid model.
Learn moreDo I have to enable every module?
No. Each server enables only what it needs. Dashboard access can also be delegated by role and module.
Learn moreWhat happens during an outage?
Saved settings remain intact. The public status page reports the state of the bot, dashboard, API, database and Discord connection.
Learn moreHow do I get started?
Invite the bot, place its role correctly and then open the guided setup in the dashboard.
Learn moreReady for your server?
Start with one module. Add the rest when you need it.
Invite Byterider, select your server in the dashboard and configure the first area with understandable defaults.
