Getting started

1. Invite Byterider

Use the invite button on this website. Review the requested permissions and select a server you manage. Byterider never asks for Administrator.

1. Select a server you are allowed to manage.
2. Review and approve the displayed permissions.
3. Verify that Byterider appears in the member list.
4. Open the dashboard and select the server.

2. Place the bot role

Discord only allows a bot to manage roles below its highest role. Move the Byterider role above auto roles, level roles and ticket team roles.

3. Configure and test

1. Choose a module such as Welcome.
2. Select its channels and roles.
3. Save and use the built-in test action.
4. Check both the Discord result and the visible error message if it fails.
